Main Article Content
Abstract
This study aims to describe the level of students’ metacognition in problem-solving of problem stories in the material of the linear equation system of two variables of VIII class at MTs N 1 Pesawaran Lampung. This research was a qualitative case study. The subjects of this study were three students of VIII class in MTs N 1 Pesawaran Lampung in the academic year of 2019/2020. The subject selection procedure used a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by the method of test and interview. Data validation used time triangulation. The results showed that the level of students’ metacognition in problem-solving story problems in the material system of linear equations of two variables was at the level of reflective use, strategic use, and aware use.
